BoB have several proven events against them, and several substantial rumours:

• T20 BPO Scandal - Despite the BPOs being returned, BoB were able to gain a significant tactical and financial advantage over their enemies (the poem about a horse not having a shoe).


• BoB/CCP MSN Love - Admitted by BoB, that they had several members of CCP on their MSN contact lists.


• Event information being leaked to BoB - Ok, I am not 100% on this, but there have been many accusations.


• BoB using borderline exploits - Call it metagaming, call it being 'more uber than j00', however BoB have been using tactics which have been banned or extremely frowned upon by the community.

Moving to wild rumour and speculation:

• BoB forcing their way into systems - BoB might have known that re-logging the client gave you a higher priority into getting into lagged systems, but they knew about this before a lot of other people.


• BoB's uncanny ability to be in the right place for the right event - During several trips up North, or out West; BoB has managed to come across some lucrative ISD events. Whether it be fully-fitted faction ships exploding in front of them, or turning up just as Guristas dreads appear out of the blue and attack a friendly POS, BoB always happen to be there.


• BoB beating lag - dispute it or not, BoB seem to be able to take advantage of lag.

I am aware that some of the above can be applied to other alliances. I am aware that not all of the above has been proven; however a significant portion has.

People question BoB, as BoB has done enough in the past to be questioned.



With regards to NC causing lag. What do you expect? GBC turns up in a 200 man fleet, and the NC to say 'Ooo, we have 400 pilots, let's log half of them off so that we don't lag'?

And even more serious cheating has been PROVEN against non-BoB.

For one example, you don't whine daily about the Proven , Approved at the HIGHEST Level of Alliance leadership, client hacking that was done by Goons.
Heck, almost everyone knows about T20, an individual, but almost no one remembers, or cares, about the proven non-bob stuff.

Go back further, and you'll find other MANY examples. One of the earliest I remember hearing about when I first joined Eve was a farming exploit that involved smartbombs and fast spawning NPCs. If memory serves it was some Russians doing it, but it was like 4 years ago, so not sure, but was pretty serious at the time.

Because you know BoB is better than you are, and it just eats at you. So ceaselessly you howl and whine on the forums.

And what eats at you most is that the BoB leadership is clean, and works to keep BoB clean, AND STILL BEATS YOU.
